To organize around talk shows, instead of being too broad, which radio cannot cover easily given the short format with tons of commercial breaks,
it may be better to have teams around specific issues that can be narrowed down, yet push the theme of reforming govt to be locally controlled.
Examples of good issues that members from diverse parties are joining forces to rally around:
1. decriminalization, legalization, and criminal justice reforms (and redirecting resources and focus on health care)
I found a Republican group teaming up with Libertarians and liberal activists
to reform the policies fueling and funding contested drug enforcement "waged as a war"
at high cost and zero success in preventing or correcting the actual causes of drug abuse and crime.
2. immigration and labor reform, ending slave labor and sex trafficking
also has united activists with different parties, unions, and issues from diverse political or religious angles
3. campaign financing and reform
^ maybe this last issue would hit on the issues of NWG most directly^
How can we lobby for parties and candidates to raise and invest
campaign funds directly into working solutions instead of wasting on media time and negative images that don't solve the problems.
